Ready For Paint
Entire boat sanded #80 Grit and ready for paint.
Entire boat wiped down with Interlux Solvent Wash #202.

Epoxy Primer
Top Coat cannnot be applied directly onto the fiberglass.
Two coats of an epoxy primer paint (Top Coat compatible) must be applied.
For this application we used interlux Prime-Kote 404/414 two part epoxy primer (3:1 Ratio).
Primer was applied to the interior and on the exterior above the waterline.
Primer required a 20 minute induction time and 25% thinning (after induction) with Interlux #2333N Solvent.
~12 Hour cure time between coats.

Top Coat
After cure, surface was sanded with #320 Grit and dust removed.
Two coats of Top Coat were applied to interior and Gunwale.
Exterior Top Coat was not applied at this time.
Top Coat was Interlux Brightside Polyurethane Y4100 Blu-Glo White.
#320 Grit sanding required between coats.
Clean-up with Interlux #216 Special Thinner.

Top Coat Cured
After 48 Hour cure, blue tape covering Dedication Panel could be removed.

|
Bottom Paint Prep
Bottom paint is compatible with fiberglass and can be directly applied without a primer.
#80 Grit sanding preparation was required and wipe down with Solvent Wash #202.
Waterline was taped in order to achieve clean paint edge.

Bottom Paint Application
Four coats of Interlux VC Performance Epoxy V127 / V128 bottom paint was applied.
The two part product was mixed 1:1 and required a 45 minute induction time.
Recoating was required and completed between 6 and 24 Hours for each coat.
VC Performanc Epoxy has a Teflon additive and provides an easy cleaning rock hard finish.

Bottom Paint Cured
After cure, waterline tape was removed.

Exterior Top Sides Paint
Blue tape now applied below waterline (on cured bottom paint).
Epoxy primer sanded #320 grit and dust removed.
Exterior Top Coat was Interlux Brightside Polyurethane Y4100 Fire Red for West Camp Boats.
and Sapphire Blue for East Camp Boats.
#320 Grit sanding required between coats.
Clean-up with Interlux #216 Special Thinner.

Paint Complete
Waterline tape removed to reveal finished product.

Prep for Seats and Hardware
After bottom paint cure boats flipped upright.

Riser Installation
Risers were painted with two coats of epoxy and top coat paint.
Then installed with a Jig as shown in the photo.
Stainless Screws and flanged washers utilized to mount the risers to the Ribs.

Seat Installation
Seats also mounted to the Risers with stainless screws and flange washers.
